Meet Ashley Mehu, LMHC
Licensed Mental Health Counselor
Owner/ Psychotherapist
"I used to think healing meant getting over situations and eventually reaching a “good place.” However, chronic stress at work and in personal relationships took a toll on my health, and taught me the importance of focusing on the present—not waiting for later. Now I work with clients to help them meet themselves where they are, honor their needs, and reclaim a sense of control in their lives."
While many therapists rely on traditional counseling approaches that can feel cold or distant, Ashley focuses on connecting with clients in more modern, relatable ways. Various counseling-based work throughout NY state with diverse populations have nurtured this passion. She's worked in inpatient settings, community clinics, substance use clinics, private practice, and tele-therapy services. Ashley is thrilled to have found a career where she can grow as a person by serving others.
